Classes

Skills based classes at Tatter investigate the practice of working cloth. Our wide ranging in-person and virtual classes prioritize preserving and amplifying the beauty and relevance of culturally specific stitching techniques, making by hand as a means to well being, and the use of intentional materials which make us better and more intentional consumers.

Retreats

Taking our cue from historical examples of side-by-side stitching in sewing, quilting and knitting circles, TATTER is proud to offer communal textile travel experiences. These retreats are designed for any textile enthusiast or creative - from beginner to advanced, who may be looking for deeper knowledge about textile techniques.
